Samsung will launch two cheaper tablets this year. This will be the Tab Advanced 2 and Galaxy Tab A2. Some specifications have been disclosed on this latest tablet, including a Bixby button on this device.

Recently, photos of a more expensive Samsung tablet, the Galaxy Tab S4, have leaked. However, if you want to spend less money on a new tablet, there is good news. Samsung will come this year with two budget tablets. This will be the Advanced Tab 2 and Galaxy Tab A2. XDA has now obtained some specifications from the latter. In addition, some images of this device have already been disclosed.
First the name. The Galaxy Tab A2 is the successor of the Tab A 10.1 2016 (2016). This device came out for a price of about 250 euros. The successor should also fall into this price category.

In terms of specifications, XDA may report the following: The firmware found the code refers to a Bixby button, which allows you to call the # 39, Samsung's intelligent assistant, which can be both Bixby Voice and Bixby Home, Bixby Vision is still unclear, and a similar button can already be found on the Galaxy S8 / S9 and Note 8. In the firmware, the 39 A2 tab is called A2 XL: what the final name will be is not yet clear The designation 'XL'; goes through the 10.5-inch display that is slightly larger than the Model 10.1-inch, however, the firmware that XDA has analyzed reports that a 10.1-inch 1920x LCD 1200 is used, we do not know where this difference in screen size comes from.
Other specifications include a Snapdragon 450. This is the same chipset as the one used in the Moto G6 t also a 4G model in Europe, with a Wi-Fi copy. The battery will have a size of 7300 mAh. The camera at the back has 5 megapixels. The tablet will run on Android 8.1 Oreo with Samsung Experience. A headphone jack and a USB Type-C port are also present, as is the MicroSD extension.
The images above show some pictures of the A2 (XL) tab. The thinner screen edges are particularly striking here. It is therefore possible to install a 10.5 inch screen in the same housing as its predecessor.
