Samsung will come this year with two budget tablets. This will be the Advanced Tab 2 and Galaxy Tab A2. XDA has now obtained some specifications from the latter. In addition, some images of this device have already been disclosed.

First the name. The Galaxy Tab A2 is the successor of the Tab A 10.1 2016 (2016). This device came out for a price of about 250 euros. The successor should also fall into this price category.

The camera at the back has 5 megapixels. The tablet will run on Android 8.1 Oreo with Samsung Experience. A headphone jack and a USB Type-C port are also present, as is the MicroSD extension.

The images above show some pictures of the A2 (XL) tab. The thinner screen edges are particularly striking here. It is therefore possible to install a 10.5 inch screen in the same housing as its predecessor.
