Schiphol at the court for interior promotions

In the past 10 days, security guards have repeatedly imposed work. Schiphol had special agreements with the unions on this subject. For example, work interruptions could not last more than ten minutes. In addition, no action would take place during the busiest departure times.

The unions have now announced actions of 15 and 20 minutes. They also increase the frequency of three to five actions a day. Schiphol finds this unacceptable because of the security risks.

The reason for the work interruptions is the failure of the CAO's private security negotiations and the G4S Aviation Security Collective Agreement. FNV and CNV are not only looking for more salaries for security guards, but also to reduce the workload.

The private security collective agreement applies to approximately 31,000 security guards, including Schiphol security guards working at Securitas T & A, Procheck International and I-Sec. . The CAO for G4S Aviation Security includes about 1200 security guards
