Microsoft announced that Sea of Thieves: Cursed Sails will be released on July 31 and will cost nothing. This is the first extension of the game that adds additional content. A second update, entitled Forsaken Shores, is released in August
. According to Microsoft, the updated Cursed Sails adds skeletal ships to the game and the new Brigantine spacecraft, which is inhabited by three players can be. Players can work together to take on bigger challenges, which should also generate greater rewards.
New content is featured through a campaign that is temporarily available and has the title Hidden Sails. This campaign is available for three weeks and during this period, players face challenges. All features of this campaign will still be available in the game.
