The 5 youngsters in the series, photographer Rosemary Dekker, manufacturers and presenter Jan Kooijman were awarded the prize Thursday at an "Open MIND Dinner" in Amersfoort. The award was presented by psychiatrist Menno Oosterhoff, winner of last year.
More than 5,500 people voted. #jesuisdepri obtained 39% of the votes, the television series True Selfie 33% and the documentary Alicia 28%.
In # jesuisdepri Kooijman followed five young people who are or have been depressed. The series aims to open the discussion to young people about depression and make them more understanding for young people with the disease
With the Antonie Kamerling Award, the MIND Foundation wishes to draw attention to psychological issues. The award was created at the conclusion of a consultation with Isa Hoes and the Antonie family. Psychiatrist Menno Oosterhoff was the first winner last year with his book Vals Alarm .
