On December 7th, Sega launches the Mega Drive Classics pack containing more than fifty games for Nintendo Switch. The package costs thirty euros, just like the versions already available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Sega calls the release date in a new YouTube video. The package was announced in September, but the date of its release was not yet known. The game appears physically in the shops and in the Nintendo eShop for thirty euros.

Nintendo's console version offers an option for local split-screen cooperation and supports online multiplayer. The package includes such classics as Golden Ax, Phantasy Star, Sonic the Hedgehog, Streets of Rage and Virtua Fighter.

The game contains games originally released for the Sega Mega Drive. This console appeared in Japan in 1988 and released in Europe two years later. Sega released the same set for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and a similar set for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 was released earlier. [196900]
