French police on Tuesday arrested six people suspected of planning an attack on President Emmanuel Macron
This information was reported by the French channel BFMTV based on research. According to the chain, the suspects were reportedly arrested in the eastern departments of the Moselle and Isere and in Brittany, in the west of France
According to sources of intelligence, the DGSI claimed that they remained in extremist right-wing circles. It would be five men and one woman. The plan of action against Macron would be in its infancy.
Last June, ten people were arrested in France because they could have links with far-right terrorist organizations. It is unclear whether Tuesday's arrests are related to this investigation.
