This is the largest expansion of the history of the Zwolle Museum. These are mainly new pieces from the eighties or earlier. The museum can now display various perforated tapes and punch cards. Associated punch presses and punch card readers are also found in the renewed collection.

In addition, the Spelcomputermuseum has managed to procure various Philips products, such as the mini-cassette and the Philips ADM-3A, one of the first video display terminals used to control a computer without screen.

Old Dutch games

Finally, the museum has added all kinds of props, such as a collection of mice, joysticks and pistols. The game collection has also been expanded with Dutch developer games.

Merijn visited the Spelcomputermuseum two years ago, which also houses an arcade room with fifty-something retro-arcade cabinets. Watch the video .
