All Spotify users now see the same interface on smartphones. This is changing for premium paid users, reports Spotify. The music service has adapted its application to paying members.
This starts with the bar at the bottom of the screen. There are now five buttons, but the "Browse" and "Radio" buttons will be canceled for paying users. Why Because the search function for Premium users becomes more personal.
Favorite Genres
At the top of the new search box are the favorite genres of the user, which change as the listener's taste changes. From now on, artists, albums, podcasts, etc., will be displayed to further match what the user is listening to and searching for.
From now on, the home screen should be the place where users will discover new music. The Library button is the third button of the new bottom bar and works as before.
Infinite Radio Stream
The new endless radio stations are also listening, to the taste of music. Users could already start a station based on an artist or song, with Spotify announcing the songs that match it. This list, however, often remained unchanged, so you knew it quickly and you had some length.
Now, personal radio streams are updated more often, they keep playing non-stop and can be stored offline – in this case, not endless.
