Tottenham Hotspur complained to UEFA in the Champions League semi-finals following the final duel with Ajax. Spurs finds it unacceptable and incomprehensible that hundreds of Dutch fans were subjects at home last Tuesday.

During Spurs-Ajax (0-1), various events took place in the stands between supporters of both clubs. There were also several Ajax supporters in cartons filled with Tottenham fans.

The Times writes Thursday that Spurs officials have lodged a complaint with UEFA. Indeed, it seems that several Ajax fans have obtained Heineken tickets for the semi-finals via a free distribution campaign organized by the UEFA sponsor. This turned out to be tickets for home subjects. On the stand is the brand new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, many fans of Ajax.

The Spurs now want clarification from UEFA on the situation. The club finds it incomprehensible that the Football Federation, in cooperation with Heineken, is distributing tickets to visiting supporters for places in a home section.
