THE HAGUE – The hundreds of starlings found dead in October and November in and around Huijgens Park in The Hague are probably dead from the natural poisoning of yew. This is demonstrated Friday by the research of the Biovascular Research Laboratory Wageningen (WBVR) in Lelystad. In any case, it is not a case of deliberate intoxication and a virus has also been excluded before.
