Stunning defeat Michael van Gerwen, World Matchplay first round is the final destination

BLACKPOOL – Michael van Gerwen was the all-time favorite for World Matchplay's final game, but he's already out in the first round. Jeffrey de Zwaan was 10-6 too strong in Blackpool for world number one

Van Gerwen scored 45 points in the first leg. He got angry with himself and in the next round he cast 171. But the low score was already a sign on the wall. He still won the leg and immediately won the next stage of De Zwaan. With that, he immediately took a 2-0 lead.

Also in the fourth leg Mighty Mike took a break. However, that did not mean 4-0, while De Zwaan won the third leg of the match. Van Gerwen also failed to take a break at 3-1. The next five stages then went with the darts, so a short break followed at a score of 5 to 5.

After the break, Van Gerwen returned impatiently on the podium. By the time he put the eleventh step on his name with a 100, while De Zwaan was 81, he shouted a moment. De Zwaan was not impressed, with a finish of 121, he made 6-6

In the next stage, Van Gerwen threw the maximum score with 220 points at board. In the turn after, however, Mighty Mike failed to throw forty. The Swan benefited optimally, he then took the leg and took the lead for the first time in the match. De Zwaan then went to 8-6 by double 19's.

By the time Van Gerwen 84 failed to get rid, De Zwaan took a break. In his own leg, De Zwaan took the initiative, his second matchdart was hit and the sensation was complete
