During the multiplayer beta, players can start using six different cards: Frequency, Smuggling, Seaside, Payload, Hacienda and Gridlock. The first four cards have already been shown, the last two have never been shown before. The beta also offers access to five modes: Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Search & Destroy and the brand new control mode. To access the multiplayer beta, you must place a pre-order.

Finally, Treyarch and Activision have announced that in addition to a multiplayer beta version, a beta version is also available for the Battle Royale Blackout mode. It's also a private beta, which will be the first available on PlayStation 4. This beta starts in September, but a specific start date is revealed at a later date.
