The EC is preparing to impose a third fine on Google

EU Commissioner Margrethe Vestager has left the European Commission on the verge of imposing a third fine on Google, Reuters reported. It is not known yet when the fine will be announced and how high. It is clear, however, that the European Commission has enough reason to believe that Google is abusing or abusing its dominant position with its Adsense advertising network.

Earlier this year, Google was sentenced to a hefty fine of 4.34 billion euros for abuse of power with the Android operating system. Google recently appealed this sentence. Last year, Google was also fined for abuse of power with Google Shopping. This fine then amounted to 2.42 billion euros.

Google Adsense has a huge market share online. Almost all websites serve Adsense ads. Google reportedly denied competitors access to the platform.
