Michelle Martin, the ex-wife of the child rapist and murderer Marc Dutroux, should probably be patient before he can finish his law degree. She must find an internship to get her bachelor's degree, but companies do not expect Martin, write Belgian media.

Parole

In 2004, Martin was sentenced to 30 years in prison for complicity in four murders of children. Her partner at the time, Dutroux, was sentenced to life imprisonment and prison terms for murder, kidnapping, torture and rape of minors. Martin knew about her husband's atrocities, but did not care.

Martin, since 1996, was eligible for early release. In 2012, she was released on parole. A monastery in the Belgian town of Malonne captured Martin after his release, which led to major protests in Belgium.
