Nathan Rutjes does not have an indefinite contract with Roda JC and so it is quite possible that the veteran has already played his last game for the Limburgers. Rutjes the announcement at De Limburger newspaper Wednesday.
The commitment of Rutjes (34) was completed at the end of June. No agreement has yet been reached on a new contract. The story that Rutjes is hired for an indefinite period in Kerkrade does not seem entirely correct. As a youth coach and signatory, the former Spartan is indeed employed permanently, but this does not apply to the "footballer" Rutjes.
"It's a misunderstanding that I play as a player for an indeterminate time," he explains. "If it ends, we have to renew it, suppose Roda does not need me anymore, or I want to play somewhere else."
Rutjes does not mean anything of the possible interest of the other teams. He is currently in conversation with Roda. "We have to wait and see if we are going out."
