He is the unofficial successor of Google Now and the first screenshots that Google showed during Google I / O are featured in this article.
The introduction of Google Assistant has marked the end of many smart features of Google Now, since Assistant has taken over in the form of Google Feed and later under the button Soon (Upcoming). The unofficial successor of Google Now is now available to a number of users instead of the Google feed. If you hold down the main button for a long time, two icons appear in the upper right corner, one leading to the new preview page and the other to "Explorer". We call it a summary page since Google has not yet linked an official name to it.

The new page of Preview or personal page displays a nice welcome message with under the weather, upcoming appointments and memories (coming out for you), sharing (Keep track of things) and questions you can ask at the # 39; intelligent assistant, among which there are topics "with possible assignments for the wizard, this page is supplemented with relevant information about your day and your latest interactions, reminders and incoming packets are displayed.

Explorer
The Explorer Page is for the discoverers among us. Here are some examples of helpful voice commands, such as navigating to a nearby store, playing music with Play Music, or turning off the Bluetooth connection.
This feature is now available to a number of Google Assistant users. Of course, you must have set up your device in English before using this wizard. Unfortunately, it is not yet known when Google Assistant can speak Dutch, but we expect to see and hear Dutch support this year.
