Jaguar has been building sports cars for seventy years and to celebrate this, it is launching two unique rally cars, based on the F-type cabriolet. They honor the Jaguar XK 120 introduced in 1948; a real rally gun.
In the fifties of the twentieth century, the Jaguar XK 120 was well known. The rally car, introduced in 1948, won – including driver Ian Appleyard at the wheel – the Tulpen Rally and the RAC Rally. Appleyard also participated three times in the Coupe des Alpes with the XK 120 and has accumulated no penalty points.
