The owner Leicester City's helicopter crushes at the stadium

A helicopter crashed at the stadium of the British football club Leicester City. According to the British media, it would be a helicopter owned by the owner of the football club, the Thai billionaire Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha. It is still unclear when he was on board at the time of the accident.

In the photos you can see a huge fireball. According to an eyewitness from British Sky Sports, the helicopter crashed a few seconds after taking off from a parking lot. British police reported an "incident" near King Power Stadium.

Srivaddhanaprabha, who had acquired his assets from a Thai chain of stores, bought Leicester City in August 2010. A year and a half later, he became club president. Leicester became surprisingly national champion in 2016.

The Thai also owns the Belgian football club Oud-Heverlee Leuven, which is the result of the Belgian first division.
