The ban was extended, but according to the court, the decision to extend was disproportionate. Cardiologists were not allowed to work at the hospital from 17 December 2012 until the bankruptcy of Ruwaard van Putten.
Cardiologists are not much wiser than they would have hoped. The allowance granted corresponds to less than 10% of the damages claimed. They receive respectively over 133,000, more than 122,000 and 88,000 euros.
