According to the State Council, all government information recorded concerning the business sector is the responsibility of the WOB. It does not matter on which data medium the information is stored. It is therefore also possible to request data on the phones.

The State Council ruled between a branch association of health care providers (BTN) and the Ministry of Health. For journalists who often use WOB to access government documents, for example, the decision has the effect that information can be requested over the phone.

Not everything is immediately public
