Last week, the new Huawei Mate 20 series was unveiled in London. Today, a similar event took place, but then "at home" in China. To give the event a new value, the technology company has introduced a new speaker artificial intelligence.
When you think about Huawei and you only see the shape of the speaker, its design may be familiar. The product is very similar to the Apple Homepod. This Huawei AI speaker, still relatively anonymous, is the second loudspeaker of the brand. The device comes with its own assistant (Xiaoyi) who can execute commands.
Huawei deliberately opted for a launch in China. At the moment, the AI speaker will only be available in the home country market. The device has six microphones, a 10W speaker and was developed in collaboration with Dynaudio of Denmark. Artificial intelligence is able to recognize multiple voices, so that several roommates can interact with the speaker in a personal way. The AI speaker is available in the gray and white colors of the market and costs 399 yuan. That's about 60 euros, which is not very expensive.
