On Monday, 23rd of July, the Monday of roses will be celebrated at the Tilburg fair. The annual event attracts several hundred thousand interested people from the Netherlands but also from abroad. Pink Monday is now a concept across Europe and the gay event is also expecting LGBT from all over the EU. According to tradition, Pink Monday begins with the Pink Caravan, renamed this year "Pride Walk". Pink visitors come from all over the country to Tilburg Central Station. "The foundation says that traditional families are the only type of family and that gays are a danger, and we do not agree," says Rona van der Heijden at Omroep Brabant. "We talked to people about copywriting, who took it very seriously, it's not an article that says they hate homosexuals, but they explain their point of view," explains Van der Heijden.
