Tinder Launches Loops for Video as a Profile Picture in Benelux – Tablets and Phones – News

Datingapp Tinder brings the Loops feature, where users can add a two-second video instead of a profile picture in the Benelux. For now, Loops only works on iOS

In addition to the Benelux, Loops also works with users in Germany, the United Kingdom and France, Tinder reports. The feature is not yet available on Android and it is unclear when Tinder makes the videos available for the platform at the location of the profile picture.

Users can cut the video of a longer video for two seconds. The two-second version can be seen by other users at the location of a photo in the user's profile. Tinder repeats the video, a function from which the loop takes its name.

This is the first time that Tinder allows users to add moving pictures to the profile. In addition, there should be a function to increase the number of places for pictures, photos or loops from six to nine. Tinder has been testing the feature since April with users in Canada and Sweden.
