The navigation service provider TomTom has received unsolicited bids from at least three investment companies, including CVC Capital Partners. This reports the news site of TMT Finance based on insiders. TomTom refuses to comment.
At present, the company would not consider any offer for the entire company. Investors Cinven and Silver Lake have also made an offer.
According to TMT Finance, the offers were launched during the strategic exploratory process of TomTom's Telematic Division. which offers products for the management of a fleet.
