Who will buy this modest residence in Eindhoven: Bruce Springsteen or Bill Gates?

EINDHOVEN – One of the world's richest men or one of the most famous rock stars ever took possession of the estate? Microsoft founder, Bill Gates, and singer Bruce Springsteen would be interested in buying the luxurious De Wielewaal estate in Eindhoven. That's what Quote magazine says. The asking price is well over thirty million euros.

The former Frits Philips estate of nearly two hundred hectares is on sale for two years. Marc Brouwers (number 285 in the quote 500) bought the estate in 2007 and wants to get rid of it. This millionaire has acquired his capital, among other things, with the sale of his big socks Bremtex to Oisterwijk. We do not know why Marc Brouwers wants to leave the field of fairy tales.

Both Springsteen and Gates have shown interest, according to Brouwers vs. Quote. Probably because they both have a daughter who plays at a high level in equestrian sport. Springsteen, along with his daughter Jessica, has been regularly spotted at Tops International Arena in Valkenswaard.

Supreme State
Anyone who will buy the estate, one thing we know for sure: this person does not end up in a tight construction. On the contrary: the house seems to be in the best possible state. It has no less than forty (!) Rooms, eight bathrooms and a garden of 142 hectares where from time to time a stag comes trotting. In the basement, there is more than enough room to store good wine. And on the ground floor, you can relax.

The mansion was built in 1934 on the order of Frits Philips. He stayed on the estate for about seventy years. With the exception of the period during the Second World War, when German officers had demanded De Wielewaal. Marc Brouwers had the house renovated in 2007, but the features have been preserved.
