Ziggo Sport has been broadcasting Formula 1 since 2013. The sender, at the time still Sport1, had also appealed to the commentator of the F1, Olav Mol, who had made a report again in 2014. After being the only man there for a few seasons, Mol was joined in 2016 by a cameraman and pit reporter, Jack Plooij, with whom Ziggo Sport's on-site activities were expanded. This is in addition to a number of programs that the station produces from the Hilversum Studios. The acquisition of the Formula 1 broadcast rights proved to be a golden success with the rise of Max Verstappen. In the meantime, each race has about one million people who vote for the Grands Prix.
