This article contains intrigue details regarding Avengers: Endgame! While Disney has shown it to the press, some may nevertheless find the following details mess.

Disney showed two scenes of Avengers: Endgame at CinemaCon on Wednesday, a sequence revealing the state of the Infinity Stones and explaining, to some extent, why Captain Marvel was so far no show.

The first scene is at the Avengers' headquarters. It's the same scene as in the trailer where Thor faces Captain Marvel. The film begins half-way with Carol Danvers about to exit Cape Town, Banner, Natasha, Thor, Rhodey, Rocket and Nebula. No sign of Tony Stark or Scott Lang here. When asked where she is going, Carol responds squarely: "Kill Thanos".

The Avengers tell her that they usually work as a team, but not that it baffles Carol. Rhodey, you notice, does not seem to like Carol – you think he would not be cool with a former USAF officer – and explained where she had been for so long. Carol says that many planets do not have Avengers to help them. This answer seems to go to Cape Town.

Carol says that she knows someone who could tell him where Thanos is. But Nebula does better and says she knows exactly where he is. Nebula remembers how, even when she was dismounted, she wanted to please him. Thanos explained his plan to him and he always responded in the same way about where he would retire once this work was done.

Rocket uses a hologram to show a planet where, two days earlier, the same energetic signature as recorded when Thanos used the Infinity glove on Earth again appeared. That means Thanos used the Stones again. "So, let's use them to bring everyone back," he said at an exchange between Carol and the Avengers.

Banner wonders if things will be different from the last time they ganged up on Thanos, but Natasha says they owe it to those they've lost to try at least if there's a far luck. Captain Marvel says the difference this time around is that they have it.

The scene ends with a deafening Thor who finally gets up from the table and calls him Stormbreaker as he faces Captain Marvel. Their exchange of the trailer – "I love this one" – follows. Then Cape, the scout who had never sworn, says, "Let's go get that son of a bitch."

The second scene shows all the heroes except Banner and Stark aboard the Benatar, piloted by Captain Marvel and Rocket. Rocket asks its passengers which of them have never been in space. Cape Town, Natasha and Rhodey all raise their hands. Rocket says that he does not want someone to vomit in his ship.

There is a close-up of Cape's eyes, the celestial light reflecting on it, while Benatar is making the chain jump. End of the scene
