Avengers: Endgame was shown at the CinemaCon event today in Las Vegas, and it suggests Captain Marvel may play a major role.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Disney showed "several minutes" of the movie, and one scene showed Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) telling the Avengers that they plan to kill Thanos. They might not have succeeded in Infinity War, but Captain Marvel says in the new footage, "Before you did not have me." Captain Marvel is incredibly powerful, so she will not be able to help the Avengers.

Also in the new footage, Captain America (Chris Evans) loses his subdued attitude and bluntly states about Thanos, "Let's get that sound of a bitch." Nebula says it knows where it is, and that Captain Marvel has a cocky attitude and believes Thanos has never faced someone as powerful as her. Captain Marvel also makes talks on the topic of undo Thanos' snap.

CinemaCon is an annual tradeshow where movie theater owners get together. The major film studios usually expect and show footage of their upcoming movie slate. The event is not open to the public, and there is no filming or livestreams, so reports are text-only.

Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26; tickets are on sale now, and pre-sales are setting records and crashing tickets-selling websites. You can watch the latest official trailer above.
