Bose's 700 noise reduction headset will be available for pre-order in India starting today, two months after it goes on sale in the United States. The listeners integrate with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple Siri, all of which can be activated at the touch of a button. "Think of them as smart headphones that keep you in the world with easy access to voice assistants," says Bose. Smart headphones are also compatible with "Bose AR," which, according to Bose, is a one-of-a-kind audio augmented reality program.

Available in black and silver, the headphones are rated 3.6 / 5 stars (with 201 reviews) on the US website. The top rated features in customer reviews are noise cancellation and appearance / design, with an average of 4.5 stars. It is therefore not surprising that noise cancellation is the highest rated attribute because there are six microphones in each station that "dramatically cancel the noise so that it does not reach your ears". The vote took 4.3 stars. The lowest rated feature is ease of use with 3.4 stars because customers have reported problems with application connectivity.

Summer has been busy for voice assistants in India

Numerous voice-activated devices and software updates have been introduced to the Indian market this summer, starting with Alexa who has announced the expansion of support for Hindi and other Indian languages. This is the second time that Bose has launched this device in India this summer and it is not the only company to want to increase its presence in the country. JBL beat Bose in India on power headsets, launching a new series LIVE in June, also supported by Alexa and Assistant. Maybe Bose waited to release the noise-canceling headphones because, in June, they launched Bose Frames, audio sunglasses incorporating the Bose AR function. Last month, the Hyundai Venue SUV was launched in India with voice activation activated by SoundHound. These big brands see India as a lucrative market. With a population of approximately 1.4 billion people and a growing technology sector, it is a favorite location for companies wishing to strengthen their international presence.
