FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) – After a five-month nationwide search, the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership has named Stéphane Frijia its next President and CEO. Frijia most recently served as Senior Vice President of Strategy for the Greater Phoenix Economic Council. He succeeds the organization’s founding CEO, John Sampson, who stepped down at the end of March after 15 years.

Of Italian descent, Frijia spent almost 20 years in the Phoenix area. In its most recent role, the partnership says it has led efforts to boost investment in new advanced industrial parks in the region, as well as the development of data science capabilities to support the attraction. and marketing of national and international companies.

“As technology drives global access and borderless opportunities, economic development leaders must have a proven track record in data intelligence and international commercialization,” said Dr Sherilyn Emberton, Chairman of the Board of administration of the partnership. “Stéphane brings experience and a track record of success in both cases. The partnership says Frijia is moving to northeast Indiana and will begin her new role on October 11.
