A new appearance of Coca Strange things Season 3.

Netflix

Now that Game of thrones is over – and with it all the absurd links of a brand – marketing teams must look elsewhere for inspiration. In the case of Coca-Cola, they will not have to look far, because they can turn to another very popular fantasy television series. Variety reports that the company will revive its famous glass, New Coke, in the honor of the third season of Strange things.

Since season 3 of the show is in 1985 and New Coke will be featured in several episodes, Netflix reportedly contacted Coca-Cola about a co-promotion partnership. This has led to the planned relaunch of the soft drink, which according to liberal tradition has a taste both sweeter and more diluted than ordinary Coca-Cola – like a sweetened version with melted ice. After more than 30 years in the company's safes in Atlanta, the unfortunate formula, quickly abandoned after its gas launching efforts fell flat, will soon be available again for sick generations. There will also be a limited edition line of original Coca-Cola made with Strange things design.

Not surprisingly, the sci-fi series, full of references and nostalgic artifacts, wants to capitalize on the appearance of New Coke in Season 3, which will be abandoned on July 4th. That said, we have some suggestions for other forgotten ones. Culinary awakenings of the 80s that deserve their own appearance:

• Original Seltzer from New York
• Jolt Cola
McDonalds McDLT Sandwich
• Keebler Tato Skins potato chips
• Kellogg's Raisin Squares Cereals
• Push Pops
• Chef Boyardee rollercoaster
