New CVS Coronavirus Vaccination Sites Open in Rhode Island

PROVIDENCE, RI – Two dozen CVS pharmacies in Rhode Island now offer vaccinations against the coronavirus. The company announced several new locations in the state on Friday.

The 14 new locations added on Friday are in Bristol, Charlestown, Cumberland, East Providence, Narragansett, Pascoag, Portsmouth, Riverside, Rumford, Smithfield, Tiverton, Warwick, West Warwick and Wyoming, WPRI reported.

As of Friday afternoon, all appointments for the CVS vaccine in Rhode Island were full, although the company said more appointments would be added as they became available. Anyone looking for a date is encouraged to come back later.
