The tight end position for the Patriots was considered one of the weakest on the list, and now it is weakening even more.
according to ESPN's Field YatesJacob Hollister was traded to the Seahawks against a conditional seventh-round pick for 2020. Hollister struggled to stay on the field as he played 23 games in his two-year career, of which only eight last year.
In two years with the Patriots, he managed eight catches for 94 yards. Hollister had been flashing during the summer over the two seasons, but simply could not assemble it or stay on the ground during the season.
The Patriots are now gone with Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Stephen Anderson, Matt LaCosse and Ryan Izzo. They did not approach the position via the project.
It would not be a surprise if one or two movements arrive, as it does not appear that the team can enter the training camp with its current depth at the station.
