Life on a sitcom isn’t as good as we thought it was.
Yet another new WandaVision The trailer has been released with even more new footage from the upcoming Season 1 episodes. The new episode trailer follows the episode 4 premiere, “We’re Interrupting This Program,” which featured some backstory on the events leading up to the Season 1 premiere, “Filmed Before Live Audience In Studio”. Episode 4 focused on Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) returns from “The Blip” and explains how she got sucked into the universe WandaVision sitcom. We also got to see how the SWORD observation base came together, how Darcy Lewis (Kat dennings) and Agent Jimmy Woo (Randall Park) got involved, and we’ve had some Easter egg-style teases for other MCU projects.
The new promotional trailer released on Saturday is titled “Triumph”, but it’s unclear who made the triumph. The 30-second teaser contains tons of shots that tease major plot developments, including Vision’s attempt to escape the sitcom’s pocket universe, Agnes (Kathryn hahn) begging someone to help him and the rest of the WandaVision Supporting characters, and perhaps most interesting of all, Wanda and Vision go head to head. It seems that finding happiness forever in a perfect sitcom world isn’t in the cards for Wanda and Vision, as interference from SWORD’s ongoing investigation causes the in-universe. WandaVision Serious glitch TV show. This interference seems to alert Vision to his first feelings that something is wrong. At one point in the “Triumph” promotion, we hear Wanda trying to stay in control by proposing, “There is no need to be dramatic,” before seeing Vision questioning the nature of reality by asking. to his wife: “You really didn’t see what I saw?”
But maybe the biggest tease in “Triumph” is the one who sees Wanda and Vision getting ready to fight in their living room. A brief shot sees the two halves of this superhero couple levitate in the air, ready to fight. It’s a moment reminiscent of when they stood on opposite sides for Captain America: Civil War – a pivotal moment in their then emerging relationship. However, the truth behind the couple’s existence in this bizarre sitcom world (which has yet to be revealed, by the way) has the potential to be even more divisive than the Sokovia Chords. As such, it’s possible that if Wanda and Vision end up fighting in a future episode of WandaVision, the damage could be much longer lasting for their relationship.
A new episode of WandaVision will premiere Friday, February 5 on Disney +. Check out the “Triumph” promotional trailer below. To find out more, here is our explanation on why WandaVision pays homage to classic sitcoms.
