Super Mario Maker 2 was announced for the first time for Switch a few months ago, via a trailer presented in Nintendo Direct. Since then, little has been spared with respect to updated game features or similar details, although the trailer suggests additional aspects such as an improved user interface. However, some images on Twitter of a new poster found at some Japanese retailers indicate what might happen to the game.

Posted by the user nira3333 from Twitter, there are six images that represent levels created in Super Mario Maker 2 that allude to new objects and features. According to the images, a very remarkable novelty is the possibility of making levels in space, aesthetically similar to Super Mario Galaxy. They seem to play like water levels, given Mario's position right in the picture.

In addition, the ability to create levels based on the jungle seems to be present in the game, as well as enemy positions like Meowser and Charvaaghs. These latest additions are both inspired by elements of Super Mario 3D World, which was still advertised as having an influence, as shown by Apparition de Cat Suit in the initial trailer of the game.

Although the images are not of the best quality, the content is nonetheless discernible and represents the main content of the game and the additions to the Mario Maker series. A fourth image in the initial tweet of nira3333 displays a Super Mario WorldThemed level containing Bullet bullet and other types of mysterious enemies. The two images added later by nira3333 also show a Super Mario Bros. 3 level wearing four hanging disturbing claws and a New Super Mario Bros. level of editing, with Mario wearing his cat suit.

It would be interesting to see Nintendo publish a 3D version Mario Maker game quite, similar to the Super Mario 64 Maker fan game, the most influence Super Mario Maker 2 takes from the entire core Super Mario games, the better it is.

Super Mario Maker 2 must go out on June 28, 2019, exclusively for the switch.
