New features we want to see at WWDC 2019

We will soon have our first preview of the next version of iOS. The Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC), hosted by Apple, begins June 3, when we get the first official preview of all the new features in iOS 13.

And although there have already been a lot of rumors and speculation about what we will see, there are some features that we really hope we can really do. Whether it's a darker mode or a smarter camera, these are the features we'd like the most in iOS 13.

1. Dark mode throughout the system

Yes, this was on our list last year for iOS 12 and it will stay up until Apple orders delivery. Fortunately, rumors suggest that this could be the year when Apple finally offers a system-wide dark mode feature in the main Settings application. It's time

2. Better Siri

Again, consider this as a permanent part of any iOS wish list. Even though Apple has been trying to boost Siri's power, with features like Siri Shortcuts, it's still lagging behind the competition. The application Shortcuts is always confusing and inaccessible, and Siri is still struggling with basic commands. Although much of this is difficult to change overnight, we would be content with a few basic improvements, such as the ability to set several timers at a time. Do you like it?

3. Searchable Emoji keyboard

Apple is reputed to have "borrowed" popular third-party application features and brought them to iOS. We'd love to see one: a searchable emoji keyboard, much like Google's Gboard app.

4. Support for the iPhone 6

This could be a bit long, as early rumors suggest that Apple will abandon support for the iPhone 6 with iOS 13, but that would be a shame. Just a year after Apple took great care to make iOS work properly on older devices, we would like to see the trend continue with the support of the iPhone 6 in iOS 13. This would help not only owners of iPhone 6 to keep their phone longer, but also & # 39; to help Apple refute conspiracy theories that it deliberately slows down old phones.

5. Volume User Interface

Do not be too dramatic, but this is probably the most blatant aspect of iOS design. It's been years and yet you still can not adjust your phone's volume consistently without obscuring the screen with a hideous pop-up window. Although this has been fixed in some applications, such as YouTube and Instagram, it nevertheless appears, quite infuriatingly, in the Photos application. Just get out of our misery and make it disappear forever. Nobody will miss it, I promise.

6. Night shooting mode

Now that Google has proven that you can take great nighttime photos with just software enhancements, it's time for Apple to step up its game. As good as the iPhone's camera is, its taking night view does not hold the road. Thus, iOS 13 would be the perfect time for Apple to introduce a quality night-time shooting mode (and to flex some of its AI muscle during the process).

7. Camera settings

While we are there, let's talk about camera settings. Photographers have long hoped that Apple opens more manual control over the native iPhone camera (yes, please). In the absence of this, we would like the existing camera settings to be more accessible, with access to the settings of the camera itself.

We will probably never get real multiple tasks on the iPhone, but we would prefer at least one image in the image. It's been a while since Android has this and there's no reason why we can not watch YouTube while doing something else.

9. Messages disappearing

Yes, many applications already allow you to do it. But you should not to have to use another email application simply because you do not want your discussions to stay permanently. It would also give Apple many opportunities to attract the attention of Facebook and its future pivot on privacy.

10. Supports multiple accounts on iPad

11. Widgets in the control center

Widgets has always been considered one of the most underrated iOS features. You can use a lot, but Apple has not explained the situation very well. This is largely due to the fact that the widgets have been buried in places where you do not think to look so often. The ability to add widgets to the control center would, however, go a long way to solving this problem. 12. Multi-tasking improvements on iPad
