The third teaser of Fortnite Season 8 shows dragons hatched in the eggs of Polar Peak.
With so much to do in Fortnite, it can be difficult to keep track of it all. Wailing Woods burns, cracks open all over the map and we recently heard of a pirate theme for season 8.
The dragon eggs found in the dungeons of the castle of Polar Peak were notably lost in the shuffle. Well, the new teaser of season 8 reminds us that dragon eggs are still there and that they will probably hatch.

People started discovering dragon eggs in January, but season 8 was still well advanced. Since then, many other things have happened, including the Ice King covering the entire snow map for a spell.
Now, however, we have some confirmation that the dragons will hatch and play a role in the next season. If I had to guess, I would say that these dragons may have something to do with the fact that planes are vaulted when the season starts.
Airplanes – as boring as they may be – are great sources of mobility for Fortnite. Could the dragons dive and replace aircraft as an air transport mode?
The fact that planes can fire and hit people is extremely annoying. If dragons offer mobility without the other aspects that everyone hates planes, they could become a decent addition to the game.
