New Google Pixelbook 2 Probable Images Show Glasses

All the attention in recent weeks has been focused on Google Pixel 4, but we believe there are other Made by Google devices that will debut at next month's event. A candidate, the Google Pixelbook 2, has reappeared in new images, allowing us to take another look at his 4K screen and his glasses.

For over a year, we have been following Atlas as the Chromebook under development most likely to succeed the Google Pixelbook. At that time, we learned almost everything we could want to know, including specifications and display information. An Atlas-compatible device was even sent to the FCC in July, signaling an imminent launch.

However, one aspect of the Pixelbook Atlas 2 that has eluded us for now is what it really looks like. The first video leaks showed us a strange combination of colors (black with gray-brown keys) and substitution graphics, while newer images revealed a color scheme closer to that of Pixelbook.

The latest leak from Atlas gives us two more looks on what we believe to be the Google Pixelbook 2 once again in a dark and seemingly dark color.

In this picture, we can see that the Google Pixelbook 2 will have relatively thin edges on the sides. However, they seem thicker than those of the Lenovo Yoga Chromebook C630, which is the only other Chromebook 4K on the market. The lower bezel, however, always looks much bigger, which is a shame.

Beyond the glasses, the only other thing revealed by these images disclosed is that the Pixelbook 2 may be available in several colors, which would be a first for a Chromebook Made by Google. It would be a little strange for Google to choose black as the second color for the Pixelbook 2, because Pixel Slate already presented the "Midnight Blue" as a beautiful high-end hue. At the same time, Pixel phones always have the standard black standard.
