Nintendo broke the news in a short clip promoting the upcoming Festivale event in Animal Crossing: New horizons, which starts on January 28. Festivale, announced by the visitor to the village Pavé le Danseur, is a carnival-type event scheduled for February 15.
After showing off the festivities, including lots of dancing and confetti, the trailer has moved on to the free monthly March update. Although Nintendo didn’t come out right away and confirmed a Mario– drop in themed content, it heavily alluded to the crossover with an onscreen mushroom and Super Star.
Check out the video update below.
There is no information on what the update will involve. In the past, mobile spin-off Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp introduced elements of Mario series as part of the quest items to find and craft.
While the March update is new, the goodies of Super Mario appeared in Animal crossing from its early days in GameCube West, from Koopa shells to coins and everything in between. It is probably the MarioThe centered update will serve as a sort of celebration for MAR10 Day, which will take place on March 10.
A virtual celebration of all things Mario in Animal Crossing: New horizons will have to do for now. After a virtual tour of the upcoming Super Nintendo World theme park at Universal Studios Japan, the park’s opening is now indefinitely delayed.
With The edge signaling that the Japanese government has re-established a state of emergency due to the increase in COVID-19 infections, Mario fans will have to celebrate MAR10 day at home.
