Update 1.11.0 added several cool changes to Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

The update introduced several new events, items, and even DIY recipes that will be available shortly. Other than that, there are traces of Halloween updates, implying that update 1.11.0 has enough content to last until the end of October.

The start of the new month, season, and event adds tons of different DIY recipes that allow players to craft limited-time items.

Players can then choose to sell them or use them as decorative items on their islands.

There are several ways to get DIY recipes in Animal Crossing. First, shoot down the balloons that are hovering over your island’s beach. Second, DIY recipes can be found in bottles found on the ground. Finally, visiting characters can reward players for completing the event they are associated with.

Interestingly, there are some inaccessible DIY recipes in Animal Crossing that players only come across naturally.

At first glance, Nintendo has restricted the DIY recipes players can learn from Treasure Islands in Animal Crossing.

Nintendo never really liked players harboring Treasure Islands, and using them is technically against their rules.

To combat this issue, Nintendo will not allow players to bring these recipes back to their islands also because they are believed to be inaccessible. However, players can still learn them if they are on these islands but cannot bring them home.

This change had been on Nintendo’s card for a very long time. Most of these unreachable recipes can be found in bundles and players unlock them throughout the game.

However, all other recipes in the game are tradable. Nintendo cracked down on modding, which had been on the cards for a very long time.

Nintendo introduced three new DIY recipes to Animal Crossing

Update 1.11.0 contains items that can last until the end of October. Data miners have discovered evidence of several new items available as soon as Halloween arrives.

Veterans of the game have already entered all of the recipes offered by Animal Crossing, so the addition of three new recipes is a welcome change.

More importantly, all of the crafted items are customizable, implying that players can get different colors and versions. Unfortunately, most of them require pumpkins, which are not that easy to obtain at the moment.

Will Nintendo add more items before Halloween? Adding three elements to the game for an event that is a fan favorite seems rather unusual.
