Apple’s next iPad Pro could face supply constraints at launch due to production issues, according to a new report released by Bloomberg. Apple suppliers are said to be having trouble with the low manufacturing yields of the new Mini LED Display which is rumored to be the main feature of the new 12.9-inch model; a manufacturer would have suspended production.

Nikkei iPad production was delayed last week by a shortage of screens and display components, although the publication did not say which models were affected. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the new iPad Pro line is still expected to be announced later this month.

It is possible, however, that the larger model has a later shipment date. The smaller model apparently won’t use the mini LED display, but other upgrades in the line-up would include a faster processor similar in power to the M1 chip on Apple’s new Macs, as well as a USB- port. Improved C and better cameras. .
