A New Jersey gym owner and ultimate veteran who has drawn attention for defying the COVID lockdown was arrested on Friday for his role in the Capitol Riot after several people identified him to the FBI, according to court documents.
Scott Kevin Fairlamb of Stockholm, NJ, who fought as “Wildman,” was indicted in federal court in Washington, DC, for assaulting a federal officer and carrying a dangerous weapon, according to documents.
The arrest affidavit describes the contacts of four concerned citizens who told the FBI that Fairlamb was on Capitol Hill that day and posted videos of himself on Facebook which he then deleted.

At least one person submitted video that allegedly showed Fairlamb pushing and punching an officer on the Western Front of the Capitol. Another showed him on the scaffolding outside the Capitol, and an officer’s body camera shows him standing in the crowd dressed in a camouflage jacket and red shoes, WRNJ reported.
Fairlamb owns Fairlamb Fit in Pompton Lakes, NJ. He told CBS New York in May that he plans to reopen his gym in defiance of the state’s COVID lockdown because Gov. Phil Murphy “overstepped his limits” by ordering closings.

The gym website claims Fairlamb was a “best ultimate fighter” until he was diagnosed with some form of leukemia while training for his MMA debut. The MMA Sherdog website says that Fairlamb fought under the nickname “Wildman.”
United States Judge James B. Clark III has ordered Fairlamb’s release on unsecured appearance bail of $ 50,000 and placed in house arrest with electronic surveillance, NJ.com reported.
