The new laptops offer powerful power, but also offer colorful and accurate displays to meet the workflow of the creators. MSI has created what it calls True Pixel displays that display 100% of the Adobe RGB wide color gamut and whose Delta-E color accuracy is less than two (the closer the result is to 0, the better ). True Pixel panels also work at 4K UHD and support HDR, although MSI has not yet specified the dynamic range standard to which it conforms.

The company does not have these screens ready at the moment, so I did not see any during my recent demo in New York. The units I saw had rather Full HD screens, as colorful as most laptops I've tested.

As expected, the new Prestige 14 and 15 are 14-inch and 15-inch laptops that can be configured with graphics cards up to the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card, as well as with Intel 6-core processors. hearts of the tenth generation. In my presentation, Prestige devices seemed innocuous and seemed expensive, thanks to their sandblasted aluminum chassis. Both had spacious and responsive trackpads and comfortable keyboards.

Their ergonomics were made more ergonomic thanks to the slight inclination provided by the hinge that held the back of the keyboard. Both models offer a wide selection of ports, including two USB-C with Thunderbolt, two USB-A and a micro SD card reader. If you also want HDMI, you will need to get the larger model.

With the new Prestige machines, MSI made some changes from last year's model, including changing the font of the keyboard keys to make it a more neutral style.
