These fugitive Pixel 4 fleeing are up again, comparing this time the Pixel 4 XL camera to the latest generation of the iPhone XS Max – with interesting, although predictable results.
Vietnamese YouTubers ReLab has posted a video comparing the two flagship camera systems that showcase the Pixel 4 XL's shooting prowess, as well as the video capabilities of the next flagship product.
Throughout the video, we see the quality and consistency of the new camera configuration, which seems to wipe the floor with the iPhone XS Max in terms of dynamic range, color reproduction and overall quality.
That said, even if the images have a better objective appearance, at least in video modes, the iPhone indicates that it remains the smartphone to beat. We believe that Pixel 4 of this video runs a preliminary software, which clearly results in some "artifact" at certain times in the video comparison game. That said, the Pixel seems to have a much higher video stabilization than the iPhone, but as has proven a previous leak, the audio remains a sore point.
Although the Pixel 4 camera manages to beat the iPhone XS Max in photography, it gives the impression of a charged test since the last iPhone 11 seems ready to make progress in all areas of the photo. For this reason, it will be more interesting to see how the Pixel 4 Camera and the iPhone 11 Camera compare themselves later this year.
In portrait mode, the Pixel 4 manages to maintain a greater depth of color and although the iPhone does a great job, it is not quite up to the "Google level". Elsewhere, it is a close comparison that really shows the strengths of both camera systems. Not surprisingly, the low-light performance of the Pixel 4 camera far exceeds those of the iPhone.
Naturally, we would come back with the Pixel 4 camera in a session of images, but the images of the iPhone XS Max are by no means bad. In fact, they are impressive in their own way. That said, what do you think? What turns out to have the best camera system – it's a bit of an unfair test in favor of the unpublished pixel – let us know in the comments section below.
