The new mouse keeps everything that made the Master 2S so popular with desktop jockeys. Your wrist and thumb are perfectly supported, a side scroll wheel with two buttons on top and a 4000 dpi black background track that can be used on any surface, even glass.
But everything is a bit more refined or useful now. These side buttons, which on other mice are usually enabled by default in applications such as browsers, automatically change function depending on the program you are using. They will continue to navigate when you use Chrome or Safari, but in something like Microsoft Word, they will work as "undo" and "restore" instead. This means that you will be able to do a lot more, without any configuration, even if you can still manipulate Logitech Options software preferences.

But there is a change in the MX Master 3 that could change the game for some users. The top and side scrollbars are now made of aluminum and, instead of mechanical gears, the Master 3 uses magnets to control the scrolling speed. It can lock the wheel so you can advance frame by frame in a video or, if you screw it in, the magnets unlock (by reversing their polarity) and allow you to reduce by 1,000 lines. It's great if you have a huge spreadsheet to go through or if you really miss having a home button. which will get you back to the beginning of a webpage quickly.
This is certainly not perfect, and requires more effort to make it scroll quickly than upward. There is a button that triggers fast scrolling, but I do not think many people will remember to use it. In addition, 1,000 lines, that's a bit too much; 500 in a shot is probably enough. And Ctrl or Cmd-F could be more useful. But, these are small reviews with an excellent kit.

This excellence is also present in MX keys. Although it's the first keyboard in the MX lineup, it's actually only a redesign of the Logitech Craft Keyboard, without the input selector. So you get a complete game, including a numeric keypad, that does not seem to be normal size. It is incredibly thin, although its low profile, with a non-adjustable height, takes a little time to get used to if you use a much larger mechanical keyboard. If you come from a Mac keyboard, however, you should feel like home.
It may not be a mechanical keyboard, but the MX keys still offer a good tactile typing experience. It is not quite clear, but each touch is sensitive and the buttons are pleasant to the touch thanks to their concave design.
