The death toll of New Mexico residents linked to COVID-19 is now 1,469.
In addition to the deaths, the state has reported 1,708 more cases of COVID-19. New Mexico reported a total of 89,796 cases on Thursday.

KOB 4 determined there was a 10% positivity result from the tests analyzed in Wednesday’s state report.
The state reports that 880 people are currently being treated for COVID-19 in hospital. The number may include people who have tested positive for COVID-19 out of state but are hospitalized in New Mexico.
As of Thursday, 30,777 cases of COVID-19 were designated as cured by the New Mexico Department of Health.
