The death toll of New Mexico residents linked to COVID-19 is now 1,350.

In addition to the deaths, the state has reported 2,353 more cases of COVID-19. New Mexico reported a total of 79,440 cases on Saturday.

KOB 4 determined that there was a 22% positivity result from the tests analyzed in Saturday’s state report.

The state reports that 825 people are currently being treated for COVID-19 in hospital. The number may include people who have tested positive for COVID-19 out of state but are hospitalized in New Mexico.

As of Saturday, 28,574 cases of COVID-19 were designated as cured by the New Mexico Department of Health.
