The death toll of New Mexico residents linked to COVID-19 is now 1,504.

In addition to the deaths, the state has reported 2,076 additional cases of COVID-19. New Mexico reported a total of 91,852 cases on Friday.

KOB 4 determined that there was a positivity result of 12.2% of the tests analyzed in the state’s Friday report.

The state reports that 874 people are currently being treated for COVID-19 in hospital. The number may include people who have tested positive for COVID-19 out of state but are hospitalized in New Mexico.

As of Friday, there were 31,102 cases of COVID-19 designated as cured by the New Mexico Department of Health.
