New multiplayer details of Modern Warfare revealed: interactive maps, night vision and more

In his latest video, YouTuber 'Drift0r' gave more information on what he saw during his stint with the latest version of Modern Warfare, which holds surprises for enthusiastic fans.

Even if fans will know the night vision goggles in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, it seems that Infinity Ward will bring it back to a certain extent, but will be better than ever.

Whether a player wears night vision goggles or not in COD4, it does not really make a difference. But according to what Drift0r has seen during his career in the game, the developers have a few things in store for this feature to be worth it.

"There were multiplayer maps where it was very important to use night vision goggles," Drift0r said. "[Night vision goggles] have their own interesting mechanisms and meta-games in terms of lighting and vision under glasses. "

Interactive maps in Modern Warfare

Call of Duty players, battle-hardened, know the multiplayer maps from the inside out, but it seems like they'll have additional elements to watch in Modern Warfare.

According to YouTuber, all doors will be "open", but he also mentioned that there would be other interactive elements like lighting switches (which could play in night vision goggles) and garage doors.

Modern Warfare already playable on PC

While this may seem like a niche for some people, PC gamers have long been ignored by Call of Duty entries in the past.

Drift0r noted that the studio already had PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game, but that it also had a fluid PC version.

"But I have to play 1440p, 144FPS without image loss, no strange performance problems, no weird crashes, no problem," said Drift0r.

This will be a boon for the Call of Duty community members who prefer the PC, as this entry into the franchise could be developed in conjunction with the console versions.
