New Pokemon Go Tease Includes Familiar Pokemon Scream

In a new Pokemon Go video, Niantic once again showed the Raid Timer expected to go off on Tuesday, but this time the video features a familiar Pokemon scream. Fans who played Pokemon X and Y might recognize this scream as the one belonging to the psychic-type Pokemon Espurr! Pokémon from the sixth generation of Pokémon are expected to appear in the mobile game on Tuesday, and it looks like Espurr will appear in Raid Battles from that day forward. Previous teasers had hinted that Espurr might be the Pokemon in the Raid Egg, but this one makes a much more compelling case!

The addition of Pokémon from the Kalos region should be welcome for fans of Pokemon Go, especially to those who have connected the game with Home Pokémon. Earlier this month, Pokemon Go players got the option to transfer Pokémon directly to Home Pokémon. While Espurr can be obtained by Pokemon Sword and Shield, a number of popular Pokémon that first appeared in X and Y have not been made available in games released since, including the game’s starting Pokemon, Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie. As such, Pokemon Go will give players a new opportunity to help complete their National Pokedex!
